I am a front-end and WordPress web developer seeking a collaborative role in developing modular & scalable front-end systems, websites, and web applications.

  • Independent Contractor; Montclair, NJ – 2010–Present
Since 2010, I’ve been sub-contracting front-end and WordPress development to agencies and freelancing under the name RHM Interactive to provide full-stack design & development services to small- and medium-sized businesses across a breadth of industries.
  • HTML Team Lead, Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia; New York, NY – 2008–2010
While leading the HTML team at Martha Stewart, I was responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of all front-end template code used across the company properties. I had the opportunity to help launch a redesign of Martha Stewart Weddings online, as well as several other redesign initiatives. As a team lead, I acted as a mentor to my teammates, providing guidance and feedback throughout project life-cycles.
  • Front-End Architect, Ogilvy & Mather; New York, NY – 2008
As a Front-End Architect at Ogilvy, I was tasked with producing flat HTML brand micro sites, and maintaining larger brand sites on a variety of platforms and architectures.
  • Sr. Interface Developer, Fry, Inc.; New York, NY – 2006–2008
As a Sr. Interface Developer at Fry, my main responsibilities included presentation layer development using HTML/XHTML, CSS, Javascript and JSP. During my tenure there I worked on sites for a range of clients, including Godiva Chocolatier, Gevalia Kaffe, and P.C. Richard & Sons. I was the interface development lead for La-Z-Boy Galleries’ store-front initiative, the redesign of, and for the initial design for K. Jordan Apparel. Additionally, I oversaw an accessibility/ADA-compliance initiative for the New York office.
  • Sr. Information Technology Professional, University of Vermont; Burlington, VT – 2001–2006
While at UVM, I had the privilege of developing numerous Flash-based learning objects, including games, simulations, and online lab environments and being the technical and/or project lead on several web development projects for a variety of colleges and departments.
  • Graphic Designer, Burlington Free Press; Burlington, VT – 1998–2001
As a designer at the Free Press, my initial job was ad layout using Quark XPress. This quickly evolved into a production coordinator role, managing the production of the paper’s monthly real estate publication, Real Estate Extra (40,000/monthly).
